A Message from our #ProudPrincipal, Dr. Robin Hardy
The SC Department of Education issues a school report card each year in which parent satisfaction plays an important role. Two areas for which your voice matters are as follows:
* My child feels safe at school.
*My child's teachers and staff prevent or stop bullying at school.
Thus, I want to share with you some of the opportunities and resources we have in place this school year:
*Three (3) expectations coaches to help build positive relationships with students and staff.
*Continued use of our STOPit app to anonymously report concerns (click here for more information).
*Stinger Studies Student Representatives to promote student voice and leadership through ongoing Town Hall Meetings
*Ongoing invitation for you to be involved with our school and to connect with me directly for two-way communication (803.237.3411 and rlhardy@lexrich5.org) to address your cares and concerns.
Have a great weekend!
Dr. Robin L. Hardy

ISO Donations: Student Service Learning Project for Keeping the Midlands Beautiful
"My name is Leilani Ante and I am a senior who is in the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme who is participating in a shoe donation that is part of the Green Step Schools program. The Green Step Schools program helps better the environment and also helps students learn why it's important to help communities. The shoe donation follows with the slogan of keeping the midlands beautiful by keeping good condition shoes out of the landfill and instead of giving them another purpose by fulfilling someone else's needs. Help give shoes that are new or gently worn, all styles and sizes are accepted. The shoes that are donated will be sent to developing countries to provide an economic opportunity for micro-entrepreneurs. If you would like to donate shoes, there is a blue basket in the main office where you can drop them off through December 17th. Thank you!"
