Progress Reports for Q2
Progress reports are distributed three times per quarter, so that students and families can have a printed record of their academic progress. The progress reports for Q2 will be distributed on the following Tuesdays: 10/30, 11/15, and 12/4. Please ask your student about his/her progress report on these days!
UniCycle Partnership
We are partnering with Unicycle (A School Uniform Recycling Program). UniCycle is a school uniform recycling program that orchestrates the collection and re-distribution of “Outgrown, not worn out” clothing to provide Standard School Attire to LEAD or METRO students who need it.

College Application Deadline
Our students have started to apply to their first round of colleges! This last and upcoming deadline for college admission is Nov. 1st. For this first round, we focused on their “Safety schools”. In the next rounds we will focus on “Match” and “Reach” schools. Students are selecting their college lists based on a mixture of reach, match, and safety along with the 5 Buckets for College Fit: Financial, Academic, Social, Living, & Emotional. We use the time in Seminar class to work on applications, personal statements, resumes, and ACT prep. Free ACT Practice: https://academy.act.org/. If you ever have a question about the college process, please contact Ms. P at kelly.pietkiewicz@leadpublicschools.org or 615-965-4086. Students using the Common App must have ALL items completed by Oct. 29th.
