Understanding ADHD
Resources for Parents and Educators
Looking for information about ADHD?
This is a compilation of resources for parents and educators, which aims at providing general information about ADHD.
This includes information about classroom strategies, accommodations, strategies for organization skills, homework strategies, thoughts about medication, Executive Functioning, alternative therapies, behaviour and other issues that can affect a child with ADHD. It also provides a range of possible apps to enhance Executive Functioning.
If you are interested in scholarly articles about Brain Research on the subject, have a look at Russel Barkley's work and the video about ADHD and the brain.
This is a starting point.
