Annual Business Meeting and Dinner
Join the Special Libraries Association (SLA), Hawaiian-Pacific Chapter for an evening of professional networking, a presentation by an archivist with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (www.jpac.pacom.mil), and reports on the Chapter's 2013 accomplishments and 2014 plans during its Annual Business Meeting and Dinner.

Everyone is welcome to attend: SLA members ($35.00), SLA non-members ($40.00), University of Hawaii at Manoa Library and Information Science students ($25.00). Payment is non-refundable.

*ABOUT THE SPEAKER: since 2010, Glenn Gray has served as Supervisory Archivist for the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command at Joint Base Pearl- Harbor-Hickam. Previously he served as Archivist for the Senate Committee on Finance at the United States Senate and as Records Management Analyst for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Awards Mr. Gray has received are: 1) a Fulbright Scholar (2005 - 2007)as librarian at the second library in East Anglia, United, Kingdom, that was established as a memorial by veterans of the United States Army Air Force who were stationed there during World War II, 2) Distinguished Service Award from the 2nd, and 3) Leland Award (co-recipient, 2010) given by the Society of American Archivists for excellent and useful writing in the field of archival history, theory, or practice.
A member of the Academy of Certified Archivists, Mr. Gray earned an MLS from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a concentration in archives administration.
