Diplomacy or War between U.S & Iran
The Nuclear program of Iran started with U.S. launching the Atoms for peace program which supplied materials and information to schools hospital and research institutions within the U.S. and throughout the world. The U.S. and western European countries participation in Iran's nuclear program continued until 1979 Iranian Revolution. After the revolution the research program was disbanded by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, who considered such weapons were forbidden under Muslim ethics and Law. Khomeini's death in 1989 started the expansion again but on a small scale.
