Welcome Message
We hope this newsletter finds you and your family doing well.
Have a blessed weekend!
Parent Teacher Conferences
Monday, Sept. 27th from 4:30 - 7:30 pm AND Wednesday, Oct. 6th from 4:30 - 7:30 pm - use the links below to sign up.
You can sign up for conferences on one or both of these evenings.
In-person conferences: sign up for one time in the classroom slot.
Or
Zoom conferences: sign up for a Zoom conference and a Zoom link will be sent out to you before the 27th.
Please help with this discussion...
Bathroom Challenge: students are instructed to vandalize restrooms at school.
Tik Tok “Devious lick": steal items from school and lick them.
Please have a conversation with your child about respecting their school. It’s not only frustrating to talk with students about vandalism but disheartening.
Dr. Warren will be sending further communication out about this topic in his weekend letter to parents as well.
Please encourage your child to report any of this behavior to their teacher or administration. Thank you!
Attending morning tutorials
Any amount of time in tutoring makes a big difference for many students, please encourage your child to attend.
After school pick-up...
Please pick up your child in and around our main front circle and not the bus parking lot.
Car riders exit the building out our front main doors and not by the buses.
Separating the traffic pattern helps us protect students from the busy bus area.
The cutoff time for early pickup is 3:45 p.m. ID is required to pick your student up. Please allow extra time for your student to leave the classroom and arrive in the front office. Students will not be removed from class before the parent/guardian arrives.
SPIRIT DAY - TUESDAY, 21st: WEAR NEON COLORS
Student work during absences
Students can and should be checking in with their teachers when absent as well as when they return to school. Teachers Moodle pages, Google classrooms, and emails are readily available to see what is occurring during the week. Students communicating with their teachers and completing make-up work is extremely important to minimize failing behind.
