My Life
Courtney Ellen Brakob
About me...
I was a crazy kid. I was a goofball. My family would sit around me and just watch me for hours. There was never a boring moment when it came to watching me. I would sing and dance and act.
My Birth
I weighed about 9 pounds 6 ounces, when at birth, most full-term babies weigh about 7 pounds. My mom calls me her Moose now because I was so big.
I had a head full of black hair when I was born.
I was born at Norfolk General at 11:07 at night during a storm that knocked all of the power out. My grandpa had to run out to the car and get a flashlight.
I sat alone when I was 5 months old.
I began walking when I was 11 months old.
My first word was daddy. I was 9 months old when I started talking and my mom says that as soon as I started talking... Nothing would get me to shut up.
I had my stuffed animals. They were called "My Crew". I brought them everywhere with me.One time, I put them all on the couch with me and my little sister Brittney, being 2 years younger than me didn't know any better than to do what people told her not to do.She took one and I cried. She laughed. She took another. I cried harder.
My favorite book was Cookie's Week about a cat, named Cookie, that gets into trouble everyday of the week except Sunday.
I used to love watching insurance commercials, instead of Barney.
A giant part of my life was my friends, family, and pets.
I used to play under our kitchen table with my little sister.
I have always learned a ton from my little sister. I learn new things from her everyday.
I have always been a daddy's girl.
Have been.... and always will be.
