WITH HARDINGS DEATH COOLIDGE TAKES PRESIDENCY

Three days ago President Harding died in San Francisco. As of late July, Harding has been experiencing severe pain, that doctors have wrongly diagnosed as food poisoning. In the evening of August 3rd, President Harding suffered two major heart attacks and died. The Vice President, Calvin Coolidge therefore has become our new president. Where Harding was genial, garrulous, and debauched, Coolidge seems dour, silent and even puritanical.
