What is going on in our class this month?

Students are hard at work training for the Fitness gram final in May! We are running the mile two times a month on block days as well as training on other days. Our unit for the next four weeks is DANCE! Students will be movin' and groovin' to 8 count dance moves to some classic favorites. The last two weeks students will be designing their own dance moves or borrowing from current favorites to some classic songs.

Technology in our classroom

Mile Trackers

The PE department has purchased a mile tracker to help simply keeping track of student's mile times. Each student will have a card that is scanned each time we run the mile, the times will be put in the database where teachers can run reports for each student. This technology takes away the mile journal students have been keeping track of currently. More info to come as the device gets closer to implementing.

After School Tutoring

Parents and students, please take advantage of the opportunity for after school tutoring. Our school offers tutoring Tuesday's and Thursday's from 3-4:30. Teachers are there as well as students to help where needed.

TCOE Peer Pressure Seminar

Thursday, Feb. 25th, 6pm

Parents and students are invited to attend a peer pressure seminar. Topics being discussed are ways to prevent giving into peer pressure and ways to bring awareness to peer pressure.
