Principal's Message

Hello WMMS Families,

We are super excited to welcome all of our students back to campus for In Person Instruction five days per week.

Here is what we are doing to prepare for their return:

  • continuing to sanitize desks between every class period and cafeteria tables between lunches,
  • continuing to check student temperatures, sanitize hands and ensure they are properly wearing a mask before entering the building,
  • continuing to maintain 6 feet social distancing during breakfast and lunch, when masks are removed for eating,
  • continuing to use designated one way traffic in the hallways,
  • continuing building walkthroughs to ensure all staff and students are following safety protocols,
  • will arrange furniture in every classroom to ensure students maintain a minimum of 3 feet of distancing between each other,
  • will have three rotations during lunch to ensure 6 feet of social distancing in the cafeteria and smaller groups eating at once,
  • will provide 5 rigorous, engaging and robust days of instruction to every student.

Your student's safety will continue to be our number one focus. If you have any questions or want more information about 4th quarter changes, please do not hesitate to call or send me an email to rizok@eaglepnt.k12.or.us

Here is a recap of the message sent earlier this week by Mr. Kovach, Eagle Point Superintendent:

Based on the Governor’s most recent direction, revised RSSL and new recommendations from the CDC, Eagle Point School District will be making important changes beginning Monday, April 12, with the start of the new quarter. The most critical changes will include changing classroom capacity to comply with the 3’ distancing guidelines. At the middle schools we will begin instruction for all students attending in-person every day. In order to prepare for the upcoming changes, April 8th will be a work day for all staff. There will be no school for students. As previously planned, April 9th will remain a Teacher Work day focused on completing grades.

We look forward to seeing all of our Wolves on Monday April 12th!
