Principal's Message
I hope this finds you doing well and staying cool! I am getting ready to embark on vacation and will be out of the office throughout July. Before I leave, I wanted to update you on a few things for the summer and the beginning of next school year.
I look forward to returning in August and launching the 21-22 school year. Have a fantastic, safe summer!
In community,
Michelle Cuddeback (she/her/hers)
Principal
iReady Summer Access
All students have access to iReady until August 20.
iReady is an online program in Math and Reading that tailors a "path" for your child based on the diagnostic assessment we took in the Spring. 30 minutes/per week of iReady is recommended to help close any gaps students may have in their knowledge and skills. It also provides above grade level practice for those who need it. Many students found this program fun and engaging.
To access iReady over the summer, visit https://clever.com/in/ashland. Your child's username and password from Canvas should log them in.

Oregon approved to issue more than $550 million in food assistance to 572,000 children
Salem, Ore. – The State of Oregon received approval from the federal government to issue Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) for the 2020-21 school year. This will provide more than $550 million in food assistance for approximately 572,000 children in Oregon.
Oregon was approved to provide retroactive food benefits to eligible students for the 2020-21 school year. The P-EBT benefits are expected to be issued beginning in July.
Households do not need to apply for P-EBT. Benefits will be automatically issued for students who normally have access to free and reduced-price meals and are enrolled at a school in Oregon.
If your children are not currently enrolled in free or reduced meals you can apply through your school or online at the Oregon Department of Education website. Qualifying for free or reduced meals for the 2020-21 school year before June 30, 2021 will ensure you receive P-EBT when the benefits are issued. P-EBT benefit eligibility and amounts will vary. Visit pebt.oregon.gov for more information.
