Class of 2022 Graduates (Part 1)

Katelyn HixsonKatelyn attended North Clackamas Christian School for 12 years and during high school participated in volleyball camp, was a member of National Honor Society, and was an officer for ASB - president during her senior year. This year, Katelyn has enjoyed English and Moot Court with the opportunity to work on her communication skills, learning from great teachers. She plans to major in communications and marketing in the honors program at George Fox University and eventually put those skills to work in a church. Katelyn chose Psalm 116:2 as a favorite scripture: "Because He bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath." | Kira Burch Kira came to NCCS in 3rd grade. She has been a member of Excelsior since 8th grade, has been involved in National Honor Society, and during her junior year worked with two other students to create a student community web site. Some of her best senior year memories are from break times on block days, just hanging out with friends in a positive environment. Kira will attend Trinity Western University where she plans to major in geography and environmental studies. Kira's long-term goal is to be kind and love people; in fact, her scripture is from I Corinthians 13 which reminds us that love always honors others and puts them first. | Lizzie NeelyLizzie has been a North Clackamas Christian student since her sophomore year, and during high school has played volleyball, sang with Excelsior choir, and been a member of National Honor Society. A favorite high school memory is Sleighbells in sophomore year; the class enjoyed going out to dinner and having fun together at the dance and after. A favorite senior year memory is senior sunrise; Lizzie says that this was a great way to start the year. She plans on going to work and possibly pursuing training to be a nail technician. Proverbs 3:5-6 is the scripture she chose: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight." |
