Adding and subtracting fractions
- First you have to find the least common multiple
- Then you add/subtract across the numerator
- Your not supposed to add/subtract the numerator. You keep it the same.
- Don't forget to simplify!
multiplying fractions
- First you multiply across
- Don't forget to simplify!
- first simplify by looking diagonally
- Then you multiply across
Dividing Fractions
- First you KEEP the first fraction the same
- Then you CHANGE the dividing symbol two a multiplication symbol
- After that you FLIP the numerator and denominator
- multiply across
- Don't forget to simplify!
