AMI/Snow Days
The first three snow days that occur are already built into the calendar this year. They will not have to be made up. The difference this year will be snow days 4-7.
What will AMI days look like? Grades 3-5 will utilize packets of information that students can complete at home..
By taking advantage of AMI days, we reduce the amount of time the school district has to make up at the end of the year. Students will be counted present as long as their work for the day is completed. Students who do not complete their assignments will be counted absent.
In summary, snow days will be addressed in the following manner:
Snow days 1-3 are built into the calendar and will not be made up
Snow days 4-7 will utilize AMI
Additional snow days will be made up in May
Instructional packets and more information will be coming to you in the coming weeks!
Lumen Parent Portal
You should have received an email regarding the Lumen Parent Portal. If you have not received that email, please contact your child's office.
Once you have received the Lumen email, it's important to log in and fill out the Student Registration Info. There are a few forms to complete, including the Student Update Form which allows you to verify and/or change your emergency contact information. For your child's safety, it's imperative that their emergency contact information is up to date.

My Child is Quarantined...Now What?
All students who are placed under quarantine, still have the opportunity and the responsibility to continue learning at home. The following is a checklist of steps you can take to ensure learning continues during their absence from school.
Your child’s teacher will reach out to you within 24 hours of being notified of the student’s quarantine.
3-5 students: Assignments will either be posted in Google Classroom or packets could be provided. If you need a device or a hot spot, please let your teacher know.
Students are expected to complete the activities included in the learning packet AND return the completed work when they are released from quarantine. Due date for all assignments will be due one week after they return to school.
If you have any questions regarding quarantine protocols and return dates, please contact Nurse Elaine at 221-7842.
All other questions should be directed to your child teacher via email or SeeSaw, or the appropriate building principal.
