Juniors - March 9th ACT Testing

On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Franklin High School Juniors will participate in the ACT exam. This is a state-required, accountability test and is administered to students attending public schools in Wisconsin. All Franklin High School Juniors, even those enrolled in our virtual learning program, will need to report to Franklin High School for this testing. Freshman, Sophomore, and Senior students will attend their regularly scheduled classes at home through synchronous virtual instruction.

Additional information was emailed to all families. Grades 9, 10 and 12 will not be in building on March 9th but will be required to participate in all classes. Grade 11 students, including those in the virtual program, are the only students who will be present in the building on Tuesday, March 9th.

Please Review and Follow Our Morning Drop Off Traffic Pattern

This is especially important with our snow and ice conditions as we enter the winter season.

Thank you for helping to keep our students and staff safe in our parking areas.

Please be sure to read the newest District Newsletter that comes out now every Friday. You can access all the issues here.

Snow/Cold Day Information

As shared in last Friday’s District Newsletter here, Franklin Public Schools will treat Snow/Cold Days as “No School Days” this year. When a decision is made to cancel school due to inclement weather, we will work to notify families before 6am. The following are the ways we communicate the closing and where you can expect to see information:

  • Parents and Staff will be sent an email and phone call alert.

  • Students will be sent an email at their @franklinsabers.org account (4K, 5K, & up through 12th grade)

  • Closing information will be posted to our district and school webpages (in the “News” feeds).

  • Closing information will be posted to our district social media channels (be sure to like or follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram if you don’t already!).

  • Closing information will be shared with local media so that our information is included in the weather updates that occur on local news.

  • Staff note: In some circumstances, there may be situations where district staff are required to or asked to report to the buildings and this would be communicated from a direct supervisor or through our internal email.
