Parent and Student Information
Welcome to the first issue of our class newsletter. It's hard to believe we have completed the first six weeks of school. For the most part, we had a great six weeks. Several students were frantically pulling in assignments at the end of the six weeks. I hope this newsletter will help keep the students on track. The freshman year is a transition year for students, but getting behind in classes can keep the student from earning credit and having to repeat classes. Sometimes students don't understand this concept.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help your child succeed.

Parenting Information
Another helpful tool is my remind account. If you are not currently receiving my remind messages, email me and I can add you to the list. I use remind for sharing important information with students and parents. It also has a text back feature to make communication with me simple and easy.
I would also recommend a set time each night for homework and checking up on things. It is easy for students to get behind if they don't stay on top of things daily.
