Marking Period 4 Progress Report Period Ends January 22
Marking period 4 progress period ends on Friday, January 22. Grades for progress reports will be finalized on Monday, January 25th. Please continue use Skyward Family Access to monitor your students progress and grades.
Student grade categories for the school year are consistent for each course. Daily grade average counts for 70% of their overall average. Tests & major assignments count 30% of their overall average. It is important students complete each assignment for each course.
Semester grades and attendance are the factors used to determine credit attainment at the high school. Each student should obtain 3.5 credits per semester and total 7 credits per year.
Current Class Rank and Student GPA
Current information displayed reflects class rank and GPA through fall semester of 2020. Remember, the spring semester of 2020 does not calculate in GPA for any cohort. The information will updated again in June of 2021.
Progress Report Eligibility Period ends Friday, January 22 ***Lose or Regain Eligibility***
Student who were previously ineligible at marking period 3 can regain eligibility at progress reports by passing all of their courses. If successful, students will become eligible for participation on Friday, January 29 at 3:25PM.
The eligibility calendar for the school year is available below. Please contact your student's sponsor for eligibility questions.
Instructional Method Change-Return to Campus & Cancellation of Virtual Learning
If your student is being unsuccessful with virtual learning, please contact a campus administrator immediately to discuss options. Two unsuccessful marking periods is a disadvantage for students on their path to earn credits for the school year.
We have notified parents of students who are unsuccessful with virtual learning and are requiring return to campus. You will be contacted directly if this cancellation policy applies to your student.
To request an instructional method change for Marking Period 5, please contact the school office by Monday, February 8th.
OFFICE HOURS & THE LATE BUS
CHECK OUT TEACHER WEBSITE LINKS ON TIVY WEBSITE
Office Hours (Tutoring) Schedules are available on teacher websites and posted for individual TEAMS. On-campus students are able to connect with teachers before school, during lunch, and after-school as needed. Students will receive a pass from a teacher for the late bus. It leaves campus at 4:30 Monday thru Thursday, beginning Monday, January 11, 2021.
National Honor Society Tutoring is available Monday through Thursday in the library until 4:30. Students can be issued a Golden Ticket (pictured) to attend from their teachers; all students are welcome. If your student needs additional support, consider peer tutoring options.
Virtual students should connect with teachers through TEAMS, email, and participate in live class zooms when possible. Virtual students needing additional assistance should contact their teacher directly.

Please keep deliveries to campus limited to educational needs.
Visitor Parking and Entrances
A few reminders on safety:
1. Visitor parking is located in the student parking lot on north side of campus. Please use those spaces to park and proceed to school entrance.
2. All exterior doors are locked throughout the school day. There will be door bells to press for entrance. All visitors will be COVID-19 screened; questions are displayed by door bell. Please plan accordingly when visiting the campus.
3. Deliveries to campus for students must be brought into the office. We do not want students meeting cars in parking lots for deliveries. Please partner with us to keep students in supervised areas. Please limit deliveries to essential items for students.
