Tech Visit Note
PVES Staff,
KUDOS to you all and your students for a great visit today! The visitors were so impressed with the level of student engagement and activity today. Many remarked on how articulate the students were as they shared what they were working on and why.

- Read information below
Teachers and Certified Staff Members,
This is the email about Individual Teacher Data that will be discussed during your PDP conference. It will contain everything you need to know in order to complete this keynote.
Purpose
The goal of this activity is to give us all (administrators included) a chance to thoughtfully reflect upon our roles, how we are teaching, spending our time, and how our students are doing.
Your mid-year PDP conference will focus on this keynote, and you will be expected to guide the conversation with your respective administrator. The final slide, as you will see, has a place where you will include how you’ve worked toward completing yourPDP goals for the year; therefore, you should be able to copy/paste from there. You will then sign/complete your mid-year PDP in the NCEES system at the end of your conference.
Your respective administrator will contact you with your PDP time in the coming week or two. We will conduct conferences on January 23rd (see schedule below). Once you have completed it, please SHARE it with both administrators by the Thursday prior to your PDP Conference (1/19).
Three Keynotes and a Sheets Document
The first thing you need to know is that there are three keynotes attached to this (PDP Sample, Park View PDP, PVES Support PDP and Mid-Year PDP Graphs. The first one (Park View PDP) is for teachers and the second one is for support staff (enhancement, EC, Title I, counselors, etc.). Make sure that you use the correct one.
Slides
The slides are pretty self-explanatory. You will be replacing generic information with your information. Some slides will require you to do a little work to find the answers.
See below for the video that will help guide you to add your graphs to your keynote.
If you have any questions, or need help completing this, please do not hesitate to ask an administrator for assistance.
Tips
- Slide 5, “My Attendance” - Only count Sick and Personal. Do not count Annual Leave unless you used it on a day when nobody else did (teachers, this does not typically apply to you).
- Slide 7, “Students On Grade and Below Grade Level by Subject” - You will not be able to finalize this before mClass is complete. If your mid-year PDP takes place before this, just do the best job you can with the information you have.
