Football equipment will be handed out that day. When checking out equipment, you MUST wear shorts and a t-shirt to insure proper fit. For safety, it is EXTREMELY important when fitting the helmet that you have your hair cut to insure proper fit as well. Players who are unable to meet the coaches for equipment checkout will receive equipment after the first few days of practice.
You will need to bring $30.00 for your activity fee on the first day of practice. Checks should be made out to Fargo Public Schools. You can also pay online in PowerSchool through SchoolPay under Carl Ben Eielson, Activity Fee - Football. You will be required to supply a suitable mouth guard, football cleats, socks, athletic supporter, shorts and a water bottle labeled with your name on it. The first three days of practice will be held with only shoulder pads and helmets.
In order to practice, you are required to have a physical examination each year. It must be dated on or after April 15, 2022 to be credited for the 2022-23 school year. The Preparticipation NDHSAA-approved Physical Examination must be dated and signed by a physician and parent/guardian and turned in to the school office before you can practice.
Remember to make an appointment with your physician early for a complete physical, as you cannot practice without it.
You are required to have the following items on file in the Main Office before you are eligible to practice:
Physical
Student Travel Waiver
Fee (Paid in Powerschool, School Pay - Carl Ben Eielson Activity Fee - Football)
