Congratulations to Paige Thomas, 5th Grade Teacher
"I have nominated Paige Thomas because I have never witnessed such dedication to students. I have seen her go above and beyond her call of duty when faced with unbelievable circumstances. We're all dealing with a difficult year, but Paige seems to have one thing after another thrown at her, and she rises to the occasion each and every time. I am blown away by her professionalism and decorum when handling the 2021 school year thus far."
"For going above and beyond in the classroom as a teacher, colleague and friend. She works tirelessly and works to efficiency with whatever she does."
"Paige Thomas handles every situation with grace and confidence. She goes above and beyond for her students. She is especially gifted at handling those students who need additional support, either instructionally or behaviorally. She is the definition of 'team player' and gives 110% to everything she does. We are so blessed to have Paige as a member of the North Pointe team!"
Rainy Day Dropoffs
Just a reminder that on days when it is raining hard, only part of our Safety Patrol will be outside. Traffic might take a little longer. At 8:00, when the patrollers come inside, all remaining cars must go and park and walk your child in. Please arrive a little earlier on those days to avoid the longer lines. Thank you!
Shout Out to Mrs. Orr's 2nd Grade Class!
Mrs. Orr's class just finished a Social Studies unit about citizenship. Part of the unit was to initiate a service-learning project. Each of the second classes decided to help with an issue that our community faces. Mrs. Orr's class partnered with Kindergarten!
They decided to raise money to help the elderly people in our community who would be hungry without assistance. They raised $325 for Meals on Wheels!
This past week, they presented a check to Laurie Ashley, executive director at Meals on Wheels. We are so proud of these students!
They want to be change makers... and I think they are WELL ON THEIR WAY!
