OCTOBER 2018
Spirit Week in GV!
As we prepare for Homecoming on Friday, October 19, all schools are celebrating Spirit Week! Every day features a new theme for students and staff to celebrate.
Veterans' Memorial
If you've been on the HS campus lately, you may have noticed that a Veterans' Memorial is now there, under the flag. The memorial is a joint project of the Great Valley Alumni Association and The Foundation at Great Valley, and honors those alumni who lost their lives in service to our country. A formal dedication is planned for November 11, at 2:00 p.m.
Record-Breaking Soup Night
General Wayne Elementary School's 15th Annual Soup Night successfully raised more than $5,000. This year, proceeds will benefit The Cure Start Now in honor of one of General Wayne's own students. The school served almost 500 people ... its biggest crowd ever!
