Beaver Tales

November/December Edition (Volume 129, Issue 4)

From the Principal

Many of you have heard that I have accepted a job as the Director of Continuous Improvement for the Tehama County Department of Education. It has been a privilege and an honor to serve at NCC. I am proud of what the school community has accomplished in facilities improvement, enhancements to the curriculum and implementation of the Leader in Me program. Serving here will be fondly remembered by me and I am looking forward to seeing how the impacts of our students, staff, and families positively affects the students.

Rick Fauss will be serving as the interim superintendent/principal beginning December 1st and will continue through the end of the year. He is excited to be a part of the school community and I know you will all welcome him.

The School Board will also begin advertising for a permanent superintendent/principal beginning in January. The hopes are that an individual will be selected by April so they can become familiar with the NCC climate and culture in preparation for officially starting on July 1.

Sincerely,

Kevin Kurtz
