Message from the Principals
Dear Springville Families,
We are down to the final day of school for the 2021-22 school year! Students have done incredible learning and shown tremendous growth. We are so proud of them and what they have accomplished throughout this year. We also want to thank you for your support during a year that brought both challenges and celebrations.
This final week has been a special time for students, staff, and parents as we reflect on all of the learning and growth this year. While saying good-bye to teachers and friends can be difficult, there is excitement about the summer as well as our next school year. We are still working to finalize our staffing and calendar for next year. Keep an eye out for updates this summer.
We wish the very best to you and your families. Thank you for sharing your children with us every day!
Best, Robin Kobrowski and Ellen Arnold

Field Day!
Field Day!
2022 Field Day was AWESOME! After a two year break, students enjoyed belly bumpers, playing corn hole, tug-of-war and many other fun activities. Thank you, parent volunteers for helping work at stations and to our PTO for the much-loved popsicles!
iHealth COVID 19 At Home Kits
As we near the end of the 2021-2022 academic school year, ODE and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) are partnering to expand at-home COVID-19 testing for all children in Oregon’s public K-12 schools. OHA is providing free, at-home iHealth COVID-19 tests for the Beaverton School District to distribute to our student population. Last week, each student received two test kits, containing 2 tests, to take home. This distribution represents one strategy to increase access to testing resources in our school communities.
OHA has flyers about the test kits available in 13 languages (OHA testing page under “For recipients of iHealth home test kits”). Flyers are available here in English and here in Spanish.
Students and families are encouraged to use the test kit for symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or who have had a known exposure to COVID-19 . If your student tests positive or experiences two of the following primary COVID-19 symptoms, they must stay home for 5 days from the onset of symptoms unless documentation of a negative COVID-19 test is provided.
● Fever of 100.4°F or higher
● Cough
● Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
● New loss of taste or smell
● Chills
Please be aware that muscle aches, headache, sore throat, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, new nasal congestion and runny nose are also symptoms often associated with COVID-19.
If you’d like more information on how the Beaverton School District is addressing COVID-19 in our schools, including testing options, please visit our website.
Student Test Results in ParentVUE/ Resultado de los Exámenes de los Estudiantes en ParentVUE
State test scores are available in ParentVUE. For the English Language Arts and Math tests, a student’s score is available in Test History in ParentVUE two weeks after both parts of the test are completed. Science scores are available one week after the test is completed. The District’s Assessment webpage has links to additional information about your child’s scores. If you need assistance activating a ParentVUE account, please contact your child’s school. Learn more about ParentVUE. Students whose parents/guardians do not have an active ParentVUE account will receive a paper report of test scores this summer. Parents/guardians may request a printed report by contacting Kristie Hauss by email at kristina_hauss@beaverton.k12.or.us or by phone at 503.356.4594.
