I cannot stress enough the power of HIGH EXPECTATIONS! We must believe in kiddos and our ability to empower every single one of them!
Positive Office Referrals
Thank you for using Positive Office Referrals to recognize excellence in expectations! The kids' faces light up when they hear what you have to say about them! You are making a difference by taking the time to recognize their efforts! Thank you for focusing on the positive!
PLC- Vertical Collaborative Teams
Thank you for the outstanding work completed during vertical team meetings last week. Your work is narrowing focus and closing gaps! Thank you for your commitment to ensuring that ALL kids learn!
Becky has embraced deeper learning of Guided Reading practices by agreeing to participate in Guided Reading Coaching with Dr, Griffith from TCU. She has spent the last few weeks working above and beyond for hours planning, learning, and growing. Becky has a solid commitment to growth in order to serve others and make a positive impact on primary reading! Her learning will be shared with her team and beyond, I have no doubt! Way to go, Becky! We are so very proud of you!
Anne and Sandy
A great big THANK you to Anne and Sandy! Both of you are such an added bonus to our staff! We value your knowledge and guidance but more importantly your focus on relationship and partnership! Thank you for living out our mission by committing to growth, serving others, and making a positive impact!
Would you like to celebrate someone on your team or on campus? If so, send me an email and what you would like to notice and celebrate! I'll include it in the newsletter.

District PLC Subs
Please remember that the office will obtain a sub for you when you are to attend a District PLC. This is an important piece of the process because it must be coded correctly to be properly funded. Curriculum Department pays for these subs, not campus.
Because of this, it is also important that you attend the PLC that was designated for you on the list sent out to staff. Please remember that you are representing your team and/or grade level content area. Please come back and share all that is learned with all of those that need the information.
Thank you for helping the process run smoothly. I can't wait to see all that you learn and glean from these collaborations. Thanks for representing WCES!
There are a few ways to do this...
- Post pics to your Class Facebook pages or send Dana or I your pics with a description so that we can post to our Campus Facebook!
- Add pics or videos to your class website or share pics with Angela B. to post on the campus website!
- Tweet out great things happening in your classrooms or grade levels and use the hashtag #WeAreWCES!
*Make sure you check your FERPA no kids before sending or posting.
Please remember to check the WILLOW CREEK OUTLOOK CALENDAR for events!
