THOMPSON GUIDELINES FOR SUCCESS

Over the past two years, students and teachers have worked side by side to determine what attributes we all need in school and beyond through the work of an initiative we call Guidelines For Success (GFS). This powerful work guides each and every person in the Thompson Community to be the best they can be each and every day as we strive to demonstrate these important traits: Perseverance, Responsibility, Respect, Kindness, and Teamwork. These traits are displayed around Thompson in hallways, classrooms, the cafeteria, and other learning spaces as a reminder of the qualities we all need in order to be successful.

As a healthy school community, we welcome the opportunity to share our school initiatives with you so you can support them on the home front further strengthening our partnership.

PARENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP

As a reminder, parents dropping off students in the morning should pull all of the way forward in the East lot and exit promptly to minimize any traffic snafus that typically occur during student arrival. Parents are also able to drop off their child on Indiana Street just west of the tennis courts and students can enter through the Door 5/gym entrance.

Enjoy your weekend!

News from the PTO

Our next PTO meeting is Thursday, September 26th at 10:00 am. Please join us to hear about all of the wonderful activities we are doing to support the Thompson community. All are welcome!

We have been asked with helping the school run the Thunder Buck store. The Thunder Buck store is where the students are able to redeem their Thunder Bucks that they earn for displaying positive behaviors. The PTO is happy to help in creating and maintaining a positive and responsible environment for all of the Thompson students.

We are looking for help in managing the Thunder Buck store. If you are looking for an opportunity to be in the school volunteering from time to time, this is your chance! The store is open every Friday before school. Please see the Sign-Up Genius link below for all the dates available. Thank you all for helping!
