Wow! We have had a fantastic and busy April! We are so proud of our 3rd-6th graders for doing their personal best on AzMerit and for our PreK-2nd graders encouraging them.

Our 4th-6th graders did a fantastic job researching a famous person from history and coming to life at The Living Museum, while the rest of our students listened to them in awe. Some of our kindergartners had them sign autographs! Thank you to Mr. Pitera and Mrs. Davis for planning the whole event. It was a huge success!

Our Great Skate fundraising night was a success. Thank you for showing up to this quickly planned event. We were so thankful to our DU family that won us the night out. You rock!

We are very proud of our classrooms as they do project based learning daily to solve real world problems and learn about a variety of careers.

It's Time to Celebrate!!!!!

Let's celebrate growth!!! We are beyond proud of our students and teachers for the TREMENDOUS growth that has been made this year in reading and math, just to name a few. Our students are finishing up their NWEA assessment which they take three times a year and have been excited about the growth they have made. Our students have also seen their growth as readers with their Fountas and Pinnel test where they learn what level of book they can read fluently and comprehend independently. Please ask your son/daughter about their growth. I know their teachers will be sharing this information so that you can celebrate alongside them!

Woohoo! All Teachers Will Be Returning & We Will Be Adding!

Our teachers are the heart of Discover U. They are extremely dedicated and work hard everyday to create hands on learning for our students that nurtures, inspires and empowers them to become 21st century learners. We are beyond thrilled to announce the return of all of our classroom teachers and we will be adding new teachers as well!
