Big Events Coming Up:
- DRA Scores Deadline into SIS - End of day on Monday; 10/3
- Spartan Tutoring starts this Monday. I shared out the transportation list for all teachers; I will also share out the Bus Sheets from Tara to each of you for reference. In case your kiddos get nervous prior to the start of tutoring tomorrow, and want to know their bus #. If there are transportation changes we will let you know.
- Tuesday, 10/4 from 8 to 11; Coffee Talk with Dr. Miller. This will take place in the School Square during this time please drop by and visit with Dr. Miller. He would like to hear from staff. He has this time devoted to our building to hear from each of you. Coffee will be set up and provided, along with some snacks. :)
- McDonald's Cookie Sales due back by Monday. Watch your mailbox for these.
McTeacher Night is coming up October 4th from 4:00 to 8:00; A sign up sheet for this event will be put on the break room door. Please sign up for a shift that you are available that evening. We can always use more than one teacher in a spot or break them into smaller time slots with teammates. - Walk to School is this week- Flyers went out. - Wednesday, 10/5 "Know your Numbers" in the Square from 1:30 to 5:30.

- Thursday, 10/6 Science Vertical teaming at MHS PD room 12 to 4
- Thursday, 10/6 PTO Fundraiser Pick up at GBE from 4 to 6; will be located in Cafe'
- Friday, Donation Denim Day for GBE- BBBS/United Way Contribution
- Friday GBE T-shirt sales begin online; Cheryl Gibbs will have a link to share with us.

To Do's:
- Check Google Calendar each week.
- Lessons for the week prepared and out daily on everyone's desk for us to see when we walk through. Small group lessons prepared also and visible.
- Vertical Teams that meet this week and after-- adhere to what I visited with your teams about Friday morning and having those ELO's thought out before your teaming date.
- Sign up for McTeacher Night on October 4th
- Email Angie if you are interested in a parent volunteer
- Federal Programs Requirement- If you received the email from Mrs. Archibeque-Staff, if you haven't already click on the link below, view and read the power point and fill in your name and additional information and submit for required training.

Building Info/Staff Info:
- The DRA Scoring Team will meet and discuss the first round of using this system. Title 1 Teachers will meet with the Vision team to discuss the shifts we saw in the scores and the next steps we will take for Title, Reading Plans and DRA's from this point. This will be communicated out to each team by you Vision Team Rep..
- Spartan Tutoring will start Monday. I will be leaving right after dismissal for an appointment in Columbia. Lindsay Overfelt is the Director of Tutoring at this time and will be here to assist.
- I am going to begin by Coffee Time with parents in October. I will be sharing volunteer information with them at that time. Be thinking if you would be interested in having a Volunteer or not.
