National Lutherans Schools Week

This year the focus of National Lutheran Schools Week is about how we can be disciples for life. Each class will have a special religion lesson focused on what it means to be a disciple of Christ. Students will make cards thanking the congregation of Immanuel for their continued prayers for our school. They will be able to decorate a themed bookmark, talk about what National Lutheran Schools Week means, and help with an all school display. Each day the students will have a devotion shared with them that Lutheran Schools all over the nation will also be hearing. What a way to connect to one another and remember the Great Commission as Christ gave to His disciples so long ago; "'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'” Matthew 28: 18-20
