Chapel & Bible Time
Chapel this week Mrs. Ginder's class will present.
Our second quarter offerings were given to Camp Perkins. We were able to send them $361. Our third-quarter offerings will be going to the Lutheran Confessional Church in Pakistan. They are trying to purchase a bus to transport children to and from church.
All parents and family are welcome to attend. We begin at 10:35 and chapel is usually 20 minutes.
Our Bible Time story for the week is "The Baptism of Jesus." Our Bible Verse for the week is "We are God's children." Romans 8:16
What we're working on this week
Our new letter for the week is "G g", and we will continue working with numbers “0-7”. The color for the month of January is “White”, & the shape for the month is the “Rectangle”. Our concept for the week is “Before and After”. Our focus for the week is "Winter".
Read Like An Eagle- Thursday, January 19
Their t-shirt is their ticket into the game and then at the beginning of the men's game, the students will be called down to the court before the National Anthem. The men's game starts at 7:00, all students need to be at CSI by 6:40.
If your child met their goal this is a great opportunity for them to be recognized.
Parent Teacher Confernces - No School Friday, January 20
I'm looking forward to meeting with all of you this week. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your conference or conference times please let me know.
Please make sure you have signed up for a time to visit with your child's teacher this week.
There will not be school, on Friday, January 20. Please let us know if your child will be at extended care that day. They will need a cold lunch and a $20 fee for students in full-day kindergarten through fifth grade will be charged to your account.
Registration Packets
If you are not planning on returning please let us know. We have scholarships available for students in full-day kindergarten through fifth grade.
National Lutherans Schools Week
Week of January 23-27 NLSW 2023 Dress Up Days
Tuesday- Roll out of Bed Day (Pajama Day)- We praise you with each new day!
Wednesday- Fancy Day- Dress your best as we go to God's house.
Thursday- Word Day- Dress as our class word Disheveled... for as we thank God for our gifts of creativity.
Friday- 80s Day (Neon Day)- Dress in 80s attire or in your favorite neon clothes as we get ready to celebrate the family we are as the ILS community.

Tickets for the Dance
Tickets can be purchased Monday, January 23 through Thursday, January 26. Tickets are purchased in the office.
All tickets must be purchased by 3:00 on Thursday, January 26.
