Password Security
Just a gentle reminder that you should be extremely mindful about protecting your login and password information as well as the login information of your students. This includes logging out of computers or locking your computer when you are not using it. As we visit schools, we see logins and passwords posted on boards for all to see. (This is a no no!) We've also seen a number of student cards with their login information laying around. As well as student computers staying logged in. All students and staff with the exception of Pre-K and Kinder students have their own login. They should be using this login whenever logging in on any computer or accessing the network on their own devices. Your login should not be shared with anyone - this includes fellow teachers, students, and even your own children. Remember, you are responsible for all activity tied to your login. If you feel that your login information has been compromised, change your password immediately. This can be done by using the CTRL+ALT+DEL function and selecting "Change Password"

Eduphoria Updates
Over the next several months, Eduphoria is expected to begin rolling out updates of their different applications. You may have already noticed some of the big changes in AWARE. There is a tutorial in AWARE available if you haven't yet familiarized yourself with the changes. In the next couple of weeks, they will be pushing out some new and improved search capabilities within AWARE and releasing a new Online Help feature. We will do our best to keep you posted of any major changes. Click here to learn about the most recent updates.
Reminder - Eduphoria works best in Chrome or Firefox. Explorer is not recommended or supported by Eduophoria.
iPad News
It is now okay to go ahead and update your district issued iPad to the latest iOS. It is still strongly recommended that you do this at home and not at school. Also make sure you back up any pictures and any other content you don't want to lose, "just in case" something should go wrong with the update.
If you still haven't gotten your iPad, register for one of the upcoming iPad Innovation sessions in Eduphoria.
The next session is December 2, 2015 @ 4:15 in the Third Floor Training Room at the Government center.
