Smoke Signals: Staff Edition
Week of September 19-23, 2016
This week's events:
- Progress reports: See Mrs. Bigler's email about progress report submission. Grades are due in Skyward by 4:00 on Monday. Progress reports and K-1 letters will go home on Thursday.
- TTESS Goal Setting Conferences - are going on this week. Please make sure your conference has been scheduled with either Mr. East or Mrs. Burkhalter. Goals and the Teacher Self Assessment are due and must be approved before September 30.
- Lighthouse for Learning classes begin on September 19
- The Ellis County Career and College Fair is Wednesday, September 21 at 6:00 pm at the Civic Center.
- The DRA window is still open this week. If you have not completed your DRAs, it is ok to ask for help covering your class so that you can complete this important task. Mrs. Alexander and Mrs. Stifle are here to help you out!
- You've probably heard that this is Homecoming Week! The spirit days are listed below. Friday is also an early release day so that we can all attend the homecoming parade, tailgate party and pregame festivities.
- The moving is just about complete! We had lots of help from our support services staff to get the contents of 5 classrooms moved this week. We have a kindergarten teacher position posted and I plan to make a recommendation by the end of this week. Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. Stifle, Mrs. Spencer, and Mrs. Pickard are getting settled in to their spaces in the portable building this week.
