Lost and Found-
- Please check lost and found this week. We will be donating all clothing items on Friday. Thanks so much!
Lights On!
- Zions Bank has asked us to decorate their tree again this year. This "Lights On!" event will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6th at 10:30 am at Zion Bank at 800 W. Main St. Our school choir will decorate the tree and sing a few songs.
- This is our third year participating in this event.
- Each year, the bank donates money back to our school. Year one we gave the money to a first grade family battling brain cancer; year two we gave the money to a fifth grade family dealing with ALS.
- This year, we would like to reach outside of our school and help a student from a neighboring elementary. More information will come home soon.
- Please help the art parents organize this event. Thanks for supporting this project!
5/6 Girls Basketball-
- Tournament continues tonight at Riverside Elementary at 5:00 pm. Go Wildcats!
Fit For Fun
Wahooz Fit for Fun program is designed to add fun to fitness. Each student who completes 20 hours of exercise outside of school during October and November receives a FREE Wahooz Fit for Fun ticket. This ticket is good for an Indoor Incredible, with Unlimited Laser Maze, Laser Tag, Twister, Frog Hopper, Bumper Cars, Bowling, Kiddie Cove, and $5 Game Card ($24.99 value!). Students must return their completed Fitness Log, with parent’s signature, to Ms. Perez by Friday, December 2, 2016.
Operation Wish Book
Operation Wish Book is a community based project designed to enable less fortunate children to receive new books for Christmas. Washington Elementary is collecting new books to donate to Operation Wish Book from now until Thanksgiving Break. Please send a new book to school with your child and we will collect them in the front office. Donated books will be distributed to children in Boise through the Salvation Army in time for Christmas. Thanks for supporting children in our community by sharing the love of reading!
