Newsletter week 10 Term 4
Hillsborough Primary School 10 December 2021
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
10 December
Dear Parents and Whanau
We have made it to the end of another year. What a year it has been.
Who would have thought on the 17th of August, life and school would be so disrupted and we would not return to normal classes for the remainder of the year.
We would have to adapt our learning programmes and experiences.
Learning from home would take on a whole new meaning.
It has been a very challenging time for Parents , Students and Teachers alike as we all have had to navigate this new path that was set before us. I would like to congratulate you all for your hard work and determination to support the learners in our school during this time.
Thankfully a change is beginning to happen and some sense of freedom and normality is returning. Let's hope that this continues as we move into 2022.
We are looking forward to school restarting on the 2nd February with all the children and Teachers back on site, excited and ready to start a new school year.
I do want to wish you all a fun filled Christmas and a well deserved relaxing summer break.
Ngā mihi nui
Kind regards
Mark Lewington
Principal
