SEL Newsletter
February 9, 2021
Hello, RMS Families!
As Black History Month is in full swing, we are sharing resources to support student growth and understanding of the achievements and accomplishments of Black and African Americans. We are partnering with Tri-Town Against Racism to create a bulletin board in the front lobby that highlights these achievements. The RMS Elementary Ambassadors will be helping with the display, so be on the lookout for photos in the next SEL Newsletter. Our last Spirit Day was such a success that we will be having a Crazy Hair/Mismatch Day on Thursday and Friday prior to school vacation. Please be sure your children celebrate Spirit Day in a safe and responsible way that follows the school rules (take care of yourself, others and the environment). It's been some time since our first Coffee with the Counselors Parent Information Session and we would love to see you all again! Please complete the survey to let us know what topics you're interested in so we can start planning. Thanks so much, as always please don't hesitate to reach out with questions, feedback or comments.
