Condolences
Have we missed something? Let us know!
Updated Extended Closure Staff To-Dos
A lot of updates to this list! Please read carefully! Bring your questions to our meetings this week!
Be available Monday through Friday to families from 9:00-2:00, by phone, text, email.
1. Check in with all of your students. This can be through Google Classroom, Seesaw, or by making phone calls. The key is to keep in touch with students! If a student is not doing any work on iReady, Seesaw, Google Classroom, etc... and you are in contact with parents, great! If you cannot reach parents after multiple attempts, please let me know! I will check on them!
2. Plan for week 4 and beyond using the learning templates provided to you in an email on Thursday, April 2.
Add all that you can with electronic links. Anything you link or plan then must be included in a paper packet version for those families who wanted paper work sent home.
Week 4 - April 20-24 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, April 15 - INCLUDE AWARDS IN THIS PACKET FOR ANY MARCH AWARD WINNER! They are in your mailbox!
Week 5 - April 27-May 1 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, April 22
Week 6 - May 4-May 8 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, April 29
Week 7 - May 11 -May 15 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, May 6
Week 8 - May 18-May 22 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, May 13
Week 9 - May 25- May 28 - to be ready in the office by Wednesday, May 20
Each packet will be mailed separately, if that is how the parents chose to get their work.
Your learning templates MUST be posted to your website for each week. If you need help, please reach out to myself, Nikki, or Jen!
Pictures below for where to have materials ready. Please follow the mailing guidelines sent out earlier this week. Valerie has posted them in the workroom as well.
3.Conferences -a detailed email was shared on Friday, April 10 with conference must dos. Please refer to that email. Document your contacts - we will turn in our conference percentage. The goal is always 100%!
4. Check iReady minutes/lessons passed. If families have not gotten on at this point, is it a technology issue? Reshare usernames/passwords if they need and offer assistance. You can assign lessons, or shut off domains depending on what you want your students working on. Need help? Check with Nikki!
5. Participate in a digital meeting with your grade level team, hosted by Nikki and Elizabeth. Invites have been shared out (this will be ONE time each week during the closure). If you can't make it to your meeting, please attend an alternate time.
6. All classroom teachers are to host a digital class meeting with your class at least once a week using Google Hangout. Non-classroom teachers will be assigned one-two classrooms to join in on their virtual class meeting. We need to keep our kids connected and ensure that they are safe! More information shared in our team meetings this week.
7. All certified staff, work on your order for the 2020-2021 school year. Budget should not exceed $300 per certified staff. Valerie sent specific ordering guidelines/information last week. Please read that email carefully. Orders due to Valerie by May 1.
*** IEP Meetings will be scheduled. Teachers of those students will be required participants. Meetings will be conducted remotely, through Zoom, Google Hangout, etc...
*** If this list is updated/changed, I will let you know.***

Math Menus:
Math menus are a great way to give students some choice while engaging them in important math concepts. The below math menus ask students to use a deck of cards (or a set of number cards) to review math skills!
Working in the Building
Please sign up to work in the building in shifts. I have scheduled it so that no more than 7 people (including custodial staff) will be in the building at the same time. Please follow the guidelines so we can all stay safe:
1. Please use hand sanitizer before using any office or workroom equipment.
2. After using the copier or other equipment, please wipe the machine/ equipment off using the wipes provided next to the copier.
3. If you see someone else using the copier, please come back in a few minutes. Ask the person to text you when they are done.
4. Work in your own space! Many people have been using the office to assemble packets. Please take materials back to your space and then bring them back to the office when you are finished.
5. Try to follow the CDC recommendation of 6 feet while in the building. Avoid contact. WHILE MANY OF US ARE HUGGERS, avoid the HUG:)
