Hello French Families,
A huge thank you to our fabulous PTO for throwing a wonderful Fall Festival! We have been working hard and everyone enjoyed the fun-filled evening. We are excited to welcome guests and volunteers back into the building. Thank you to all of those who made our first week of lunch visitors such a smooth success. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create the perfect plan to accommodate visitors and provide adequate space with our growing student population. We will continue to monitor and make adjustments to support our students and families. We respectfully request lunch guests continue to follow the schedule below.
With fall upon us we have lots of events and activities coming up! Please see the calendar below.

Veteran's Day Program for Fifth Grade
Veteran’s Day 2021
5th Grade Program
Dear Parents,
We are so excited to have our 5th graders present our Veteran’s Day program this year! Our students are continuing to work hard in music class each day to make our program a success. Our performance will be on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2021 at 8:45am.
As a reminder, in order to have a successful program, we need YOUR help. Please read the following items below to help your student be prepared for their program.
Dress Code: On the day of the performance, all students will need to wear blue jeans with a solid color red, white or blue t-shirt, or a patriotic t-shirt. There should be no holes or designs on the jeans.
Picture SlideShow: Also, as part of our program, we wish to recognize family members who have served in the military. If you have any pictures of family members who are veterans, living or deceased, please email them to bprewitt1@kleinisd.net along with their name, rank, military branch, and the name of the student that is related to them. Please turn in all pictures by November 1st.
RSVP: A sign up genius to RSVP for the performance is included in the link below. Please make sure to include all guests that will be attending. We welcome any family members who are veterans!

Check In: For the performance, family members who have RSVP and have had their ID scanned will be able to check in at a table in the rotunda. If you have not had your ID scanned, you will need to do so at the front office. Opportunities to have an ID scanned before the event will occur on Wednesdays: November 3rd and 10th from 8:30-9:30 am and 1:30-2:30 pm.

This week our students are learning more about respect. Respect means you care enough to think about how you impact others. Respect has two parts:
1) having respect for someone because of how their actions impact others. You can also have respect for yourself. Self-respect means you feel good about who you are, the types of choices you make, and the impact you have on others.
2) showing respect by change your actions to be sure you don't have a negative impact. Showing respect means you act in a way that shows care for how your actions may impact others. We can show respect for people, places, and things.
