1st Amendment: Freedom of Speech, the Press, and Religion
Court Case: Miller v. California- In the Supreme Court decision in Miller v. California (1973), if a book, magazine, movie, or other material can be judge by literary, artistic, political, or scientific value, it is not allowed.
2nd Amendment: The Right to Bear Arms
Court Case: Bliss v. Commonwealth- This case, (1822), was the first major court ruling over the right to keep and bear arms for personal use.
4th Amendment: Unreasonable Search and Seizure
Court Case: Barron v. Baltimore- The Supreme Court made it clear about the decision of the 1833 case. The Bill of Rights did not apply to actions taken by local or state governments.
