Principal Points- March

We are excited that we will host our Festival of Cultures this month. Flyers came home in February! Please take some time to see if your family can participate either by setting up a table/ booth or to perform a traditional dance (or both)! This is a very special night that celebrates our diverse cultures at Crystal Springs- I look forward to seeing you all on March 24th at 6:30 PM.

Every Moment Matters- Family Stories

Every moment matters at Crystal Springs.

Please read through the flier. We would love to have a family a week share their family story on our video announcements. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Nielsen at:

Forks and Spoons?

Do you wonder why you have spoons and forks that don’t match at home? Send your extra spoons and forks to the front office for use in the classroom and for school lunches. This year we have transitioned away from plastic and are now using reusable (metal) silverware. Thank you for your help in this effort.

Our next student Green Team meeting is Wednesday, March 4th, 9:10am, in Room 24.

SEL and PBIS at Crystal Springs

For those of you that weren't able to make it to our last Coffee House at Griffis, Ms. Manabat gave a wonderful presentation about PBIS and SEL. Please take a moment to read over her thoughts! Thank you, Ms. Manabat, for all of this amazing information!

Picking up your child from school?

If you are picking up your child from school, please send a note or email to our office.

Parents- do you have a minute to thank a staff member?

Expressing gratitude can fill your cup and our staff member's cup. Positive connections between home and school foster mutual respect; in turn creating a rich learning environment. If you're interested in sharing a quick "thank you" with someone who is having a positive impact on your student, please email me at: anielsen@nsd.org with subject line: Gratitude for Staff

Bus Lane- please do not use

When dropping students off or picking students up, please do not use the bus lane. Our bus lane is used early in the morning until late into the evening for middle school runs. Please only use the parking lot or the parent-pick-up lot in the north end of our parking lot. We truly appreciate your cooperation with this.
