How to Register to Vote
~ In order to be a U.S citizen you must either be born in the United States or you must go through the Naturalization Process
- You must be a resident of the county and have lived in that county for 30 days prior to the election
- You must be 18 years old
- You can not be serving a sentence for a felony conviction (if you are in jail, then you cannot vote). If you have previously been convicted of a felony, you must get your citizenship restored.
Basically any reason that you have if you are not going to be in your state on voting day, you cast an Absentee Ballot. In an Absentee Ballot, you make your vote early and your vote is mailed to the election workers.
