Tracking Your Progress: What works?

Many of you are trying to trim your middle or lose a few pounds on Plexus Slim or the Triplex Combo. It's important to keep track of how you're doing and make course corrections or tweak your program as necessary. What's the best way to track your progress?

When I started out on the Triplex, I kept an index card and a measuring tape in my bathroom. Every Monday morning I wrote down the date, all of my measurements (chest, upper arms, waist, hips, thighs), and my weight. It was a clear indicator of my progress on my products!

We see inches melt away before we see our weight budge. (Sometimes this is because of how much weight we carry in our lower intestine... Gross but true!) Often times this is because we're losing fat which weighs far less than muscle. Losing fat and not muscle (inches rather than "weight") is a very good thing! So don't forget to measure. *If you don't have a flexible measuring tape at home, let your Ambassador know and we'll send you a complementary Plexus measuring tape!*

Once I ran out of room on my index card, I started using an app called "Progress" on my phone. (There are many apps that do this, so look around and find one you like!) Progress prompts me to measure each area and input my weight. I still do this every Monday morning. I try only to weigh myself once a week so that I don't get discouraged. It's much easier to see progress if you're tracking regularly and methodically. Don't cheat yourself out of seeing your body change and having the data to prove it!
