New Hampshire is one of the first to declare its independence from Mother England. The colony that became the state of New Hampshire was founded on the division in 1629 of a land grant giving seven years previously by the Council for New England to Captain John Mason and Sir Ferdinando Gorges.

John Mason
He was the one who found Colonial New Hampshire in 1638.
John Wheelwright
In November of 1637 he was banished , but in 1638 he became the founder of Exeter in New Hampshire and he became the pastor.
Benning Wentworth
He was the governor for New Hampshire colony till 1677.
