SECOND ANNUAL CHET HALL MEMORIAL PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Wow! We had a fantastic turn out for the Chet Hall Memorial Pancake Breakfast. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and supported this event. This was a great reminder of what our school is all about. It was truly heart-warming to see so many people pull together to put on this event in memory of Chet Hall.

STUDENT COUNCIL BRINGS SPIRIT

Members of our student council planned and organized school spirit day in connection with St. Patrick's Day. Students were encouraged to wear green, participate in trivia and reflect on what they feel lucky for.

DID THEY CATCH LUCKY?

In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, our kindergarten students made leprechaun traps to try to catch Lucky. Lucky played sneaky tricks on the students. He left foot prints in the classroom, moved materials around, left the students notes and even turned the toilet bowl water green!

FIRST GRADE FAIRY TALE PLAYS

Students in Cindy Drouin's first grade class performed plays of well-loved fairy tale stories. Students had been studying fairy tales as part of a class genre study. The performances included: The Gingerbread Man, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood and Goldilocks and The Three Bears.

BULLYING PREVENTION PLEDGE

Our guidance counselor, Mrs. Schwab, has been teaching the Steps to Respect to 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade classes for the past few months. The Steps to Respect program provides students with education around social-emotional skills for positive peer relationships, emotional management, and recognizing, refusing and reporting bullying behaviors. As a culminating activity, students recite the bullying prevention pledge and receive certificates and bracelets to support bullying prevention.
