Words of Wisdom

A life lived without forgiveness is a prison.
~ William Arthur Ward

With something to think about . . .Who hasn't laid awake at night stewing over something said that didn't sit well? Or moped around feeling hurt about some perceived infraction? That's a lot of energy spent mulling over hurt feelings. The real enemy is often the negative self-talk, drumming up old insecurities and fears. Imagine if that much energy was spent on forgiveness and perspective. Sure, we don't always hear what we want. Feelings get hurt. People get angry. It's rotten when it happens, but life can and does move forward. Carrying the weight of a grudge is a self-imposed prison from which only you can release yourself. And that will make you a better person and a better educator.

Remember to take care of yourself.

Let it go—turn the time and energy that you have used in holding grudges into something positive.
