*unite-Sing "The Bear Went Over the Mountain" Ask students which body part the bear used to know what was on the other side of the mountain
*disengage stress- Teach students a new calming strategy The Drain (extend arms out, pretending they're faucets. Tighten arm, shoulder, and face muscles. Exhale slowly, making a 'ssshhh' sound as you release your breath.
* connect- Sing "Row, row, row your boat"
*commit- Last week we practiced helping hands. Another way to keep our classroom safe is by using our BIG voice. "I don't like when you push me" "call me that"
* morning message- I see with my eyes.

puzzles (potato head game for 5 senses

playdough (fine motor) (provide wiggle eyes, buttons and other pieces to make a face)
Math/ Science Circle 10:20-10:45
Display a set of attribute buttons on the floor. Tell students they will use their sensational eyes to identify the attributes of the buttons (color, shape, size, number of holes)
Write the word attributes and prepare 4 columns. Label the columns color, shape, number, and size
