How do you know when your essay is "done?" I'm assuming you didn't wait until the last minute, in which case you are done when you run out of time. By the way, essay readers can tell when you did this. If you are thoughtful about your essays and took time to rewrite them and revise them, here is an article from Ivywise that explains things to check about your essays to decide if you are truly "done".

Here are a few final FUN FACTS as our college visits wind down:
- Clarkson Unviersity (NY) was the first college in the nation to supply a personal computer to each incoming first-year student. In 1983, each incoming first-year student was supplied with a Zenith Z-100 desktop computer. The Z-100 had 128K of RAM, a 320K 5.25-inch floppy disk drive and a dual-processor system that used Intel 8085 8-bit and 8088 16-bit microprocessors, as well as software packages for Fortran, BASIC and Pascal. I know, now everyone's phone is more powerful than that computer.
- Chaminade University (HI) has the Silversword plant as their mascot. This is a very unique plant and one of it's unique qualities is that it blooms only once in it's lifetime.

Chaminade University
As the only Catholic University in Hawaii, Chaminade University is guided by the understanding that both reason and faith are essential conditions in the pursuit of truth. Their community is a family where students mature into world citizens who respect the complexity and diversity of others, value community service, and strive to create a more just society. The faculty emphasizes critical thinking and creative problem solving while mentoring students in more than 25 undergraduate and graduate programs in the fine arts and humanities, sciences and mathematics, behavioral sciences, business and communication, education, and nursing. Located in the international city of Honolulu on the island of Oahu, Chaminade is regarded for its remarkably diverse student body–students come from Hawaii, the mainland U.S., the Pacific region, and beyond. Class sizes are small, with a low student-to-faculty ratio. At Chaminade, students develop professionally through service learning projects, research and internship experiences, and leadership and community networking opportunities. At Chaminade, students receive a personalized education that prepares them for an ever-changing future.
Chaminade has a direct entry Nursing Program unlike most California schools. If you are looking to get into a nursing program consider this school. Aside from need based financial aid, they offer several merit scholarships ranging from $8000-$17000. These scholarships are awarded based on the student's weighted GPA of 3.0 - 3.75 (3.0 GPA earns $8000/year up to $17000 for a 3.75 GPA or better.) This school also has articulation agreements with some graduate schools which permit early admission for qualified applicants to health profession programs. Among these schools is Samuel Merritt University where you can get early admission into the Master of Physician Assistant (M.P.A.) or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) programs.
If you are interested in one of these fields or just interested in spending 4 years studying in Hawaii, check out Chaminade University!

Career Spotlight
Architects
Architects plan and design houses, factories, office buildings, other structures as well as cities and landscape. People need places to live, work, play, learn, shop, and eat. Architects are responsible for designing these places. They work on public or private projects and design both indoor and outdoor spaces. Architects can be commissioned to design anything from a single room to an entire complex of buildings.
Architects discuss with clients the objectives, requirements, and budget of a project. In some cases, architects provide predesign services, such as feasibility and environmental impact studies, site selection, cost analyses, and design requirements.
Architects develop final construction plans on the initial proposal after discussing with clients. The architects’ plans show the building’s appearance and details of its construction. These plans include drawings of the structural system; air-conditioning, heating, and ventilating systems; electrical systems; communications systems; and plumbing. Sometimes, landscape plans are included as well. In developing designs, architects must follow state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances, such as those requiring reasonable access for people with disabilities.
Median Pay: $82,320
Typical Entry-level Education: 5 year Bachelor's Degree and passing the Architect Registration Examination.
Work Experience in Related Occupation: None
On the Job Training: Internship/Residency
Job outlook, 2021-31: 3% (slower than average)
