About Stephen Hawking
Stephen Hawking was born in Oxford. In 1963, when he was 21 years old he was diagnosed with "ALS" disease that paralyzed his entire body.
About "ALS" disease
ALS- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. ALS is a progressive fatal neurodegenerative disease. Most patients with the disease deceased. Usually, the life expectancy from diagnosis the disease is 2-3 years.

Stephen William Hawking is a British theoretical physicist who is also a professor at the university of "Cambridge". He become famous thanks to his first book "A brief History of time".

Through out his life Stephen hawking had many interesting incites about the future of humanity on earth. Recently he said: "life on earth is at the ever-increasing risk o being wiped out by a disaster. I think the human race doesn't have a future if it doesn't go into space. I therefore want to encourage public interest in space". Following his remark there are many volunteers willing to travel to Mars and establish a colony knowing they will not be able to return to Earth.
