Welcome to the BHS Express
A newsletter keeping you informed about Batavia High School
August 19, 2022
Andrea Conner, BHS Principal
Hello Bulldog Families.
It’s been a wonderful start to the 2022-2023 school year, and we couldn’t have done it without all of you supporting your students throughout the first week “jitters”. Yes, even high school students feel anxious at the beginning of the school year!
In our class meetings this week, Mr. Buis and I reviewed the importance of treating each other with respect, treating ourselves with respect, and treating our building with respect. As part of our efforts to work on the culture at the high school, we will be revisiting this expectation throughout the school year and appreciate your support in helping us help your student mature into a young adult.
This edition of the BHS Express includes information about upcoming important dates throughout the next few months as well as information from the guidance department. As always, please reach out if you have any questions.
Again, thank you for a great start to the school year, and enjoy the weekend.
In service to our Bulldogs.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING
Students are not permitted to order DoorDash. If parents/guardians wish to bring lunch for their students, they must bring it to the office. We will only allow parents/guardians to bring lunch to their student, not their student’s friends. No siblings or friends of students will be permitted to bring in lunch. Thank you for cooperating as student safety is our primary concern.
Morning and Afternoon Drop Off: If you are dropping off or picking up your students, please use the Old 32 entrance and drop them off in the circle in FRONT of the building. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe.
