Things you Eat

  • Grass-produced meats
  • Fish/seafood
  • Fresh fruits and veggies
  • Eggs
  • Nuts and seeds
  • Healthy oils (Olive, walnut, flaxseed, macadamia, avocado, coconut)

Things you Do Not Eat

  • Cereal grains
  • Legumes (including peanuts)
  • Dairy
  • Refined sugar
  • Potatoes
  • Processed foods
  • Salt
  • Refined vegetable oils
You can't eat any processed foods on this diet. And since our ancestors were hunter-gatherers, not farmers, say goodbye to wheat and dairy, along with other grains and legumes (such as peanuts and beans)

Extra Information

  • With no salt it reduces amounts of sodium you can intake, so since you cant eat canned foods it helps to look at labels for sodium levels.
  • It can raise your grocery bill buying fish and meats to eat.
  • When you start the diet 3 meals a week can be whatever you want, but after you have to stay in the guidelines.

The Paleo diet contains a lot a lean protein, in other words the meat that is in the diet is grass fed not grain. Its supposed to be more healthy but some people say it does not taste as good as some grain grow animals.
