CLASS SOCIAL NEWS:
Scott mentioned last week that we may want to consider going as a class to see the movie "Do You Believe?" which is currently playing in Conyers at the Carmike 16. If anyone is interested in making this a class outing then speak up next week or else we'll just take it off the list.
If anyone would like to volunteer to plan, sponsor, host or co-host a class social event at anytime this year, please let Scott know and the class will discuss it.
Here are a few ideas for socials that might be worth considering:
- Progressive Dinner at multiple homes
- Movie & Dessert afterwards
- Scavenger Hunt around town
- Meet for dinner somewhere and just talk!
- plan a Game Night at the Fellowship Hall
- plan an outing at a sporting event (Braves or Hawks game)
- plan an arts event (movie, play, concert)
- plan a Bowling Competition
- Pick a family and roll their yard
- let the class know if your child has a school event we could all attend (concert, game, etc.)
- and the list goes on!
- Think about it and volunteer!
