Executive Team Changes . . .
To Ensure Future Success and Putting the Clients First
From the Desk of Deanna Rodenbeck
We are all created by God with our own personal gifts. It is important to listen as we are reminded of what our gifts are and then use them to the best of our ability to serve in the fashion that we are called.
The changes that are occurring at Life and Family Services are due to the growth the agency is seeing as well as observations while I have been the Executive Director during the past four years. God set it on my heart that while I work for Him, I need to look at the other gifts and talents that people possess to make Life and Family Services strategically strong in the future.
I will continue work for Life and Family Services in a new position. As of June 1st, 2018, I will be the Fundraising/Marketing Coordinator. I will be focusing on just what my title states. I have observed that we are one of the best kept secrets in Noble County and it is time to change this. I know that Life and Family Services has so much to offer many people and families throughout Noble County, and with this change I will be able to begin reaching out in more avenues. I will continue to lead the fundraisers for the organization as well. Yes, that includes the Apple Festival, Baby Bottle Fundraiser, Twinkle of Hope-Dancing with the Noble County Stars, Porkburger Sales, and new ideas are developing.
It is my honor to announce that the new Executive Director will be Debbie Derby. She has been employed with Life and Family Services for 9 years in various positions. She brings great vision, compassion, leadership, and administrative qualities to this director’s position.
This is not the only change happening at LFS...
In January of 2018, Life and Family Services implemented a data tracking system specifically designed for pregnancy resource centers and this system supports the challenging demands of Christ-centered PRCs, allowing us to spend more time on our mission. Promote life, strengthen families, and offer hope through God’s love. Our board of directors and our staff have plans to work side by side to construct a new strategic plan for Life and Family Services. This plan will define a strategy and direction for the next 5 years. We will set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, and ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals that will help us review results and assess and adjust the organization’s direction in response to our changing environment.
If it weren’t for our clients needing someone to lean on we wouldn’t exist. That is why the most important factor in our organization is putting them first. We are the hands and feet of God and it states in Romans 8:28 We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. Every staff member at Life and Family Services is working for God in effort to pass His honor on to others. It is our goal to lift the spirit of every person that enters our facilities. We will listen, assist, and love them through what needs they are experiencing.
This is a very exciting time for Life and Family Services as our thoughts will be developed into a new vision and our team will continue assisting families throughout Noble County.
