AP Exams!
To all students taking an exam, "You got this!"
BCSD Art Exhibit May 23-26!
The Brockport Central School District will hold a modified 6-12 Student Art Exhibit May
23-26 in the Brockport High School art hallway. Your child’s artwork has been selected for display in this exhibit. The exhibition will only be open to the public during the opening reception on Monday, May 23rd, from 5:30-7:30pm.
• We encourage families of students in grades 6-8 to attend between 5:30-6:30pm.
• We encourage families of students in grades 9-12 to attend between 6:30-7:30pm.
Please note the exhibit will be open during school hours May 24-26 for students, faculty, and staff only.
Parking: Guests of the show can park in the North Parking Lot behind the school or by the pool doors (walk down behind the building to enter). The doors in the back of the building will be open and clearly marked with entrance and exit signs. Please do not enter any other doors.
BHS Student Now Published Composer!
Brockport's very own Joey Stempien, current Brockport High School senior, is now a published composer!
Joe has been composing since elementary school with an emphasis in jazz. He has also arranged works for the BHS Percussion Ensemble and is finishing his first original Percussion Ensemble composition to be premiered in June. The BHS Jazz groups will also be playing new works by Joe in June. He studies composition under Dave Chisholm.

Attention Seniors!
A Senior Class Assembly was held Friday, May 6th, 2022. News and Updates on many end-of-year events was shared. You can access the full presentation here.
2022 Prom Update!
Prom this year will be held on Saturday, June 11th at La Luna from 6:00 -11:00. Tickets will be $50 and includes appetizers, drinks, and desserts. You can purchase them in Room 118 with Ms. Lysiak or Room 250 with Ms. Restaino from 5/3 - 5/20.
If you would like to bring an out of district or previous graduate guest, please fill out the linked form and return to the main office. Form must be filled out and approved before purchasing a ticket. Ms. Lysiak or Ms. Restaino will message you on teams when your form has been approved.
Hispanic Scholarship Recognition
Brockport High School will have three students receiving scholarships from the Ibero American Action League. Since 1985, the Ibero Scholars Program has awarded 1000 scholarships impacting the future of community leaders and professionals. At a virtual event on May 22nd, IBERO will be celebrating 57 students and families from Cuba, Chile, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, and Spain.

National Prevention Week
Monday marked the first day of National Prevention Week (NPW). NPW is a national public education platform bringing together communities and organizations to raise awareness about the importance of substance use prevention and positive mental health.
